Ingredients for Lauki ke Lachhe Recipe

  • 0.13 kg Long bottle gourd
  • 0.13 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Rose water
  • as required Dried rose petals
  • 0.06 cup water

Directions: Lauki Ke Lachhe Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take long ( straight) bottle gourd/ lauki.
  • STEP 2.Peel it's outer skin. Grate with julienne peeler to make long lachhe. Grate only green part of bottle gourd in plate .
  • STEP 3.Take wide mouth kadhai/ cooking pan. Add sugar and water in it. Add rose water. Place it on low flame.
  • STEP 4.As sugar melt,add grated bottle gourd lachhe.
  • STEP 5.Cook till lacche become transparent.. stirring gently in between after 5 mins. Off the flame.
  • STEP 6.Spread cooked bottle gourd lachhe in plate to cool. Separate lacche with hands so they don't stick together. Cool till dry and crispy.
  • STEP 7.Arrange in serving plate or bowl. Garnish with dried rose petals.
  • STEP 8.Serve/ Relish Delicious Lauki ke Lachhe as sweet dish.
