  • STEP 1.In a large bowl, marinate the lamb with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a large pot and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown. Remove half of the onions and set aside for garnishing.
  • STEP 4.Add marinated lamb to the pot and cook until browned. Add water and bring it to a boil.
