Ingredients for Ladies Finger Buttermilk Recipe

  • 15 Nos lady fingers
  • 2 Nos green chillies
  • 1/4 Nos fresh coconut
  • 1.50 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Rice
  • As required Some curry leaves
  • 3 tablespoon ghee/cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 3 Nos dry red chilli
  • pinch A asafoetida powder
  • As required Rock salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1.50 cup curd

Directions: Ladies Finger Buttermilk Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry lady fingers

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cut lady fingers into pieces

step 3

  • STEP 3.Grind fresh coconut,cumin seeds,rice,some curry leaves, coconut water and make a paste

step 5

  • STEP 4.1.add ghee/oil in a pan & heat it.

step 6

  • STEP 5.2.now add mustard seeds & cumin seeds

step 7

  • STEP 6.3.add green chillies and curry leaves.

  • STEP 7.4.add dry red chilli and saute.

step 9

  • STEP 8.5.then add asafoetida powder and chopped lady fingers.

step 10

  • STEP 9.6.cook for five minutes

step 11

  • STEP 10.7.now add the grinded paste and some water.

step 12

  • STEP 11.8.add rock salt & turmeric powder

step 13

  • STEP 12.9.add 2 cup of water and cook for 10 mins

step 14

  • STEP 13.10.now turn off the flame.

step 15

  • STEP 14.11.take curd and 1 ½ cup water and grind as a buttermilk

step 16

  • STEP 15.12.now add the buttermilk to the okra curry and mix well.

step 17

  • STEP 16.13.garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
