Ingredients for Lachko Mohanthal Recipe

  • 62.50 g Chickpea flour besan
  • 62.50 g Ghee
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 3/4 Tablespoon Ghee
  • 3/4 Tablespoon Milk
  • 1/4 Tablespoon cardamom powder
  • 2.50 Stalks Saffron
  • 1.25 Tbsp milk (to add last in Mohanthal)
  • As Required For Ganishing Almond slicing
  • As Required For Ganishing Slicing of pistachios

Directions: Lachko Mohanthal Recipe

  • STEP 1.First sift the chickpea flour through a sieve. Add ghee and milk to the chickpea flour. Now set it aside. After a while, stir in the wheat pasture.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan on gas. Slowly fry the chickpea flour covered in ghee.
  • STEP 3.On the other hand, take sugar in a pan on gas and take enough water to dissolve the sugar in it. Make the sugar syrup semi-thick.
  • STEP 4.Bake the chickpea flour till it turns light pink. Now turn off the gas and add the prepared syrup. Mix everything well and add saffron and cardamom. Then add five teaspoons of milk, turn off the gas and stir for a while. Keep the prepared Mohanthal in the pan for two hours.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with ready-made lentils Mohanthal with almond pistachio slices. Serve hot.
