Ingredients for Kung Pao Tofu Recipe

  • 1/4 ounce 14 package extra firm tofu, drained
  • 0.06 cup plus 2 tablespoons reduced sodium or gluten free soy sauce
  • 3/4 tablespoon cornstarch, divided
  • 1/4 inch 2 ginger, minced
  • 1/2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 medium scallions, chopped, whites and green separated
  • 1/2 inch medium zucchini, quartered lengthwise cut 1/2 cubes
  • 1/2 inch medium red bell peppers, cut 1 cubes
  • 1/2 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1/4 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1/2-3/4 teaspoon Sambal Oelek, fresh ground chili paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon tablespoons, 1 toasted sesame oil, divided
  • 1/2 tablespoon lightly salted peanuts, chopped
