  • 1/2 Green Chilies
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fennel Seeds

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook moong dal and potatoes until soft.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saut��� until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked moong dal and potatoes to the pan.
  • STEP 6.In a blender, grind coconut, green chilies, and fennel seeds to a smooth paste.
  • STEP 7.Add the coconut paste to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 8.Add water, salt, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with dosa, idli, or rice.

  • Make sure to cook the moong dal and potatoes until they are soft and easily mashable.
