This dish is adore from my childhood.One day while imaging the taste of this dish somehow i manage to find the the way out to get that authentic taste i tried in my childhood. After making it i got that proper taste. Its not only a dish it is my emotion.

Ingredients for Kolkata Style Tikka Masala #chicken Recipe

  • 100 gms Boneless chicken
  • 20 gms Curd
  • 1/5 Cups Onion and tomato paste
  • 0.40 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/5 g Bay leaf
  • 0.40 g Dry red chilli
  • 1/10 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/10 tsp Shahi jeera
  • 1/10 tsp White pepper powder
  • 1/100 Cup White oil (approx_ml)
  • 0.40 tbsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/10 cup Chopped onion
  • 0.03 tsp Kaora water
  • 0.40 tbsp Fresh cream
  • 0.80 As Required Salt and Sweet As per taste
  • 0.40 gram gram powder
  • 1/10 cup Watermelon seeds paste
  • 1/20 Tsp Tumeric powder
  • 1/20 Tsp corriender powder

Directions: Kolkata Style Tikka Masala #chicken Recipe

  • STEP 1.Make a mince of boneless chicken. Heat a pan and pour oil .After that add bay leaf, shahi jeera let it crack then put chopped onion and fry till it becomes soft. Then put minced chicken .Now add black pepper and garam masala powder .Fry them properly and add salt and gram powder for binding.
  • STEP 2.After making this Chicken staffing let it cool down and make a fine paste with the help of a mixture grinder.Give this paste a patty shape and swallow fry it on low flame till it turns out to golden color. The upper layer would be crunchy and the inner side would be juicy. Approx 20 pieces of chicken tikka will be made of this staffing.
  • STEP 3.To make gravy heat a deep pan and put oil in it and put 1/2 TSP kashmiri chilli powder and sugar together to get a red gravy color..Put Black pepper corn as a seasoning. Then add onion and tomato paste let it fry for one minute then add ginger garlic paste in it. Add all dry masala power one by one ( tumeric, corriender, garam masala powder, white pepper grounded). Give a boil and put watermelon seeds paste .Cover it with a lid and cook for 10 minutes on a medium frame. After that oil will be released from the gravy.
  • STEP 4.At this stay gravy is ready .Now put all chicken tikka one by one .Let cook both side of tikka for 5 minutes each. Now make a mixture of fresh cream and keora water .Now pour it and switch of the flame. Let it rest for 10 minutes to infuse the aroma. At the end you will get a creamy texture.
