Directions: Kodo Millet Vegetable Bhath Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak kodo millet for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped vegetables like carrots, beans, peas, and bell peppers. Sauté for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add soaked kodo millet and water. Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles.
