Ingredients for Khichdi Recipe

  • 1 Cups Rice
  • 1 Cups Moong dal
  • 2 Pieces dry red chilli
  • 1 Pieces Bay leaves
  • To Taste Salt
  • 2 Pieces reen Chilli
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 Tsp hee
  • 1 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • A Handful Coriender leaves
  • 2 Pieces Potato
  • 8 Pieces Couliflower

Directions: Khichdi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Melt 1 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker and add 1/8 stick cinnamon,, 1/4 tsp jeera and 1/4th tsp hing.
  • STEP 2.Once the jeera starts crackling, add 1 tbsp 1.5 tbsp moong dal, 2 tbsp rice, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp , 1/4 tsp haldi and sauté.
  • STEP 3.Mix well and add a little water and cover the cooker.
  • STEP 4.Pressure cook till 2 whistles and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot.
