Ingredients for Kheer Recipe

  • 1/4 litre 1. 1 litre
  • 0.63 cups 2. 1/2 cups
  • 0.88 cups 3. 1/2 cups sug
  • 1 pieces 4. 8-10 pieces
  • 1.25 pieces 5. 8-10 pieces
  • 1.50 pieces 6. 8-10 pieces
  • 1.75 pieces 7. 8-10 pieces
  • 2 Tbsp melon seeds
  • 2.25 Tbsp Dessicated Coconut
  • 1 pieces Green cardamom

Directions: Kheer Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Wash and Soak rice in water for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.2. Boil milk in a pan. Add soaked rice and crushed green cardamoms and let it simmer on low flame till it turn thick and rice gets soften. It may take 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.3. Add sugar and stir well and cook till it mixes well and dissolves completely. Keep on stirring continuously as it may burn if not stirred.
  • STEP 4.4. Now add melon seeds, dessicated coconut and dry fruits and mix well. Keep some dry fruits for garnishing. Let it cool at room temperature. Now refrigerate and then serve chilled garnished with chopped dry fruits.
