  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add water gradually to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  • STEP 4.Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 6.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
