Milk gives the Makai ka Halwa a very rich and creamy even buttery flavour while grated coconut improves the mouth-feel. Although it is a unique recipe, it still has a traditional touch to it. This makes the halwa appealing to both the younger and older generations! Today I have made this special treat on special demand of my kid's, it's good to be served on home gathering occasions like kitty party's, picnics, after dinner or at any special occasions, yup I can say serve this mouth watering sweetdish even with tea or coffee at regular days in winter's, because it's specially made during winters only.
