Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the lamb pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and spices for at least 2 hours.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Then, add the marinated lamb and cook until it changes color.
  • STEP 4.Add tomato puree, Kashmiri red chili powder, fennel seeds, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add water, cover the pan, and simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours until the lamb is tender and the flavors are well blended.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
