Ingredients for Kashmiri Pulav Recipe

  • 50 gms Basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1/2 Pieces Star anise
  • 1 Pieces Cardamo
  • 1/2 Inch Cinemon stick
  • 1 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
  • A Few Saffron strings few
  • 1/2 Pieces Apple
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dry cranberry
  • 1/2 tbsp Lotus seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Almond
  • 1/2 g Dry ginger powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Kissmiss
  • 1/2 tbsp Cashewnuts
  • 1/2 Pieces Pineapple
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sugar

Directions: Kashmiri Pulav Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and Soak Rice for 10.Min .
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan add cinemon cardamom bay leaf star and cloves. Crackle cumin seeds and add chopped apple dice and chopped pineapple.Add kissmiss dry cranberry cashewnuts nLotus seeds (makhana) Almond saute for a min. and add rice without water. Saute rice coat with ghee and shine add salt coarsly grinded fennel seeds and dry ginger powder mix well. Add fresh pineapple juice. And 1cup water. Stir lightly cover and cook on slow flame. 5-7min.
  • STEP 3.Now open the lid add saffron water and sugar (obt).And cook for 2-3min. Turn off flame and serve. Delicious healthy Fruits and Nuts Pulav is ready to Serve. Garnish with apple slices and cherry.
