  • STEP 1.Slice the bitter gourd (karela) and onions thinly.
  • STEP 2.Sprinkle salt on the sliced karela and onions and let them sit for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Squeeze out the excess water from the karela and onions.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and chopped garlic.
  • STEP 5.Add the sliced karela and onions and cook until they are tender and caramelized.
  • STEP 6.Sprinkle spices like turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala and mix well.
