Ingredients for Karam Gavvalu Recipe

  • 3/4 cup Wet Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup Suji Rava
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Hing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/4 liter Water for kneading
  • 1/2 sprig Curry leaves

Directions: Karam Gavvalu Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients sequentially and add water in small quantities to prepare a soft dough.
  • STEP 2.Once the dough is prepared with a small quantity of dough prepare a shell shape with the help of a mould.
  • STEP 3.In a pot, heat oil for frying and add these shell shaped dough on to the pot, mix well while frying and once fried, remove excess oil from the shells.
  • STEP 4.Serve with fried curry leaves in a bowl.
