  • 0.33 cup Rice Flour
  • 0.33 cup Jaggery
  • 0.33 cup Grated Coconut
  • 0.67 cup Water
  • as needed Ghee For Greasing

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat water and add jaggery. Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
  • STEP 2.Add grated coconut and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 3.Slowly add the rice flour while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 4.Cook the mixture until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  • STEP 6.Grease your hands with ghee and shape the mixture into small balls or desired shapes.
  • STEP 7.Serve the Kapparisi as a sweet dessert or prasadam.
