STEP 1.Add to the dry grated tapioca, 1 ½ cup of rice flour.
STEP 2.Mix the ingredients well.
STEP 3.To check the consistency of the mix try to form a shape with hands. If it doesn’t break out then the mix is ready.
STEP 4.In a puttu maker add 1 tbsp of grated coconut to form the base layer. Then fill in alternate layers of puttu mix and grated coconut each.
STEP 5.Top the final layer with grated coconut and close the lid.
STEP 6.Steam for 10 minutes and puttu is ready to be served hot.
