Ingredients for Kanji medu wada Recipe

  • 0.40 cup Moong Dal- (soaked)
  • 1/10 Tsp Hing
  • 1/10 tsp Sounf powder
  • 1/10 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • 1/10 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.80 tbsp Mustard seeds (grind)
  • 1/5 tsp green chillie paste
  • As Required As per taste Salt
  • as required Oil for frying
  • 1/5 Tsp Tamarind pulp

Directions: Kanji Medu Wada Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly Take water in a big bowl/ vessel add all the ingredients of kanji & keep covered for 10hrs.
  • STEP 2.Soak yellow dal for around an hour then grind with very less water.Add all the spices & mix well.
  • STEP 3.Heat required oil for frying... Make vadas & remove out in a plate.
  • STEP 4.Once all done then put wadas into plain water got 10 mins.
  • STEP 5.so the excess oil from vadas can release.
  • STEP 6.Transfer the vada to Kanji water bowl & keep overnight & then serve.
  • STEP 7.Take vada & kanji water in a bowl sprinkle red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder & salt & enjoy.....
