Gujarati masala kadhi simple recipe. The dish is so praised all around India and is always served with rice. The dish is a splendid mixture of curd in gramflour along with lots of spices and tempering.

Ingredients for Kadhi Recipe

  • 3 cup Buttermilk
  • 100 gram Gramflour
  • As required a few Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 3 No.s Green chillies
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 5 No.s Dry red chilli
  • 3 No.s Cloves
  • 1.50 piece Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • As required Sugar
  • As required Coriander leaves  A few
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee

Directions: Kadhi Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Mix the gram flour, ginger chilli paste into the buttermilk and blend it well.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Now put the mixture on the heat and let it cook.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Take a pan and add a spoon of ghee, a spoon of fenugreek seeds, dried red chillie whole,  cumin seeds and saute for a minute. Add curry leaves and then add this tempering into the boiling kadhi.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4. After 2 boils, add the salt and sugar as per your taste.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5. Mix well and boil again. Kadhi is ready, garnish with coriander leaves
