  • 100 gram Mutton Or Chicken, Cut Into Pieces
  • 0.40 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 0.40 Tomatoes, Pureed
  • 0.40 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.40 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.40 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/5 tablespoon Ghee
  • as per your need A Handful Of Curry Leaves
  • 1/5 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1/2 Ves
  • 1/2 Damom Pods
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add onions, ginger, and garlic. Saute until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 3.Add the mutton or chicken pieces and cook until they are tender. Add water if needed.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat ghee and add curry leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. Fry for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add this tempering to the cooked meat and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • Marinating the meat with yogurt and spices for a few hours will enhance the flavor.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For a richer gravy, you can add a tablespoon of cashew paste or coconut milk.

  • Leftover Kadapa can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
