Ingredients for KABULI CHANA PULAO / CHICKPEA PULAO Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup Basmati rice
  • 1/4 Cup Boiled kabuli chana
  • 1/2 Pieces Chopped onion
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1.50 Pieces Whole black pepper
  • 1.50 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 1 Pieces reen cardamom
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • 0.13 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp Clarified butter
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.13 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • To Taste Salt

Directions: Kabuli Chana Pulao / Chickpea Pulao Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat clarified butter in a pan.
  • STEP 2.Add whole gartam masala to crackle.
  • STEP 3.Add onion and saute for 2 - 3 mins.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 - 2 mins.
  • STEP 5.Add boiled kabuli chana / chickpea ,coriander powder,turmeric powder and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Soak rice for 15 mins. and strain it.
  • STEP 7.Add rice and mix well.
  • STEP 8.Add salt ,lemon juice and two and half cup of water.
  • STEP 9.Once boiled,keep it in a low flame.
  • STEP 10.Cover it and cook for 10 mins.
  • STEP 11.Serve with raita.
