Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Prepare the dosa batter by soaking rice and lentils overnight, then grinding them into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 2.Heat a griddle or non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter onto it. Spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 3.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat oil and sauté onions, bell peppers, cabbage, and carrots until they are slightly cooked but still crunchy.
  • STEP 5.Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, and vinegar to the vegetables. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Place a portion of the vegetable filling on one side of the dosa and fold it over to form a roll.
  • STEP 7.Serve the Jini Dosa hot with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup.
