South Indian cuisine includes the cuisine of the five Southern States - Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Telangana. There are typically vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes for all five states. Some of common vegetarian South Indian delicacies such as Dosa, idli, uttapam,sambar, rasam, upma, appe, appam, curd rice, lemon rice, pongal, bisi bele bhaat/huliaana, payasam are popular and favourite amongst rest of Indian states too. Jini dosa is one type of dosa which is popular in Mumbai. Basically jini dosa is mini dosa rolls stuffed with some veggies and sauces, loaded with cheese. It is said that this buttery, cheesy and scrumptious Jini dosa is originated from Ghatkopar area in Mumbai, where Gujarati population is more. Jini means small in Gujarati, hence this small rolls of dosa got name, Jini Dosa.
