A bengali street food of puffed rice and spices .Jhal muri is a tasty and very popular street food snack from Kolkata. This vegan snack is made with puffed rice and other tidbits like roasted peanuts, onions, tomatoes, boiled potatoes, spice powders and herbs. In Bengali language ‘jhal’ means spicy and ‘muri’ means puffed rice.

  • 25 gram Chanachur
  • 15 gram Bhujiya
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bhaja masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black salt
  • 15 gram Boiled yellow peas
  • 10 gram Raw sprouted bengal gram
  • 2 gram Chopped green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger chopped
  • 25 gram Boiled cubed potatoes
  • 8 gram Chopped coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green chilies paste
  • 5 gram Oil from mango pickle
  • 3 gram Mustard oil
  • 15 gram Chopped Onions
  • 5 gram Lemon juice
