Ingredients for Jerk Chicken Recipe

  • 187.50 gram chicken on the bone, cut in 4 pieces
  • As required Salt
  • As required Crushed black peppercorns
  • 0.13 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon clove powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 0.38 piece Lemons
  • 1/4 No.s small onion, quartered
  • 1 No.s garlic cloves
  • 1/2 No.s Spring onions, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 No.s green chilli
  • 1 No.s thyme sprigs
  • 1/4 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Jerk Chicken Recipe

  • STEP 1.1 - marinate the chicken with salt, black pepper, allspice, coriander powder, cumin powder, clove powder, cinnamon powder, and lemon juice.

  • STEP 2.2 - keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

  • STEP 3.3 - blend onions, garlic,spring onions, green chilli, thyme spring with lemon juice in a food processor.

  • STEP 4.4 - pour the blended mixture on top of marinated chicken with some soy sauce, water and 1 tbsp oil.

step 6

  • STEP 5.5 - combine everything and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 6.6 - heat some oil in a grill pan and cook your chicken on it.

step 8

  • STEP 7.7 - cook it for 3-4 minutes from both sides.

step 9

  • STEP 8.8 - serve it with some salad and garnish with lemon wedges and green onions.
