  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1/2 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns brown. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  • STEP 4.Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Pour water, cover the pan, and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.

  • Marinating the chicken for at least 30 minutes will enhance the flavors.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
