Ingredients for Jamaican Rice Porridge Recipe

  • 3 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1.50 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Cooked White Rice
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup Cold Water
  • As required Sweetened condensed milk
  • pinch A Brown Sugar

Directions: Jamaican Rice Porridge Recipe

  • STEP 1.1 - boil some milk in a pan and add cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract and salt to it.

  • STEP 2.2 - add cooked rice and raisins to it and stir well.

step 4

  • STEP 3.3 - let it boil and then lower the flame.

step 5

  • STEP 4.4 - cook it for 5 minutes and add cornstarch mixture to it.

step 6

  • STEP 5.5 - cook it until it thickens.

step 7

  • STEP 6.6 - add condensed milk to sweeten the porridge and give it a stir.

step 8

  • STEP 7.7 - sprinkle some brown sugar on top.
