Ingredients for Jaggery Rice Recipe

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Ghee
  • 1/2 Cup Jaggery
  • 1 Tbsp cashew
  • 1 Tbsp Raisins
  • 2 Pieces Cinammon stick
  • 2 Pieces Cloves

Directions: Jaggery Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak Basmati Rice for 1/2 in water
  • STEP 2.Add ghee in pressure cooker, add cloves, cinammon sticks, cashews, raisins and roast for 30 seconds
  • STEP 3.Drain the water and add rice in the pressure cooker
  • STEP 4.Roast rice at low flame for 2 mins
  • STEP 5.Add 3 cup lukewarm water, jaggery and mix well
  • STEP 6.Cook the rice till 3 whistles of pressure cooker
  • STEP 7.Serve jaggery rice with ghee and sugar
