Ingredients for Jaggery & Raisins Rice Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Basmati rice
  • 1/4 cups 1 & 1/2 cups
  • 1/4 cup Jaggery
  • 1 tsp pure ghee
  • 5 pieces 10-12 pieces
  • 1/2 Tbsp tb sp melon seeds
  • 3 pieces 6-8 pieces
  • 2.50 pieces Cashew nuts

Directions: Jaggery & Raisins Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Wash and Soak rice in water for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.2. Transfer it in pressure cooker. 3. Add water and pressure cook till 2 whistles and switch off the flame. Let pressure releases automatically.
  • STEP 3.4. Heat ghee in a wok. Add jaggery and cook on low flame till it melts. Add cooked rice.
  • STEP 4.5. Add raisins, cashew nuts, melon seeds and pistachio and mix.
  • STEP 5.6. Cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 6.7. Offer to Lord Ganesha
