Instant Rava Masala Dosa is a perfect dish for all occasions. Just 30 minutes and simple ingredients, you can have this amazing Dosa for your meal. And when we say "Instant", we really do mean instant. Rava is the South Indian name for Semolina. Dosa is a thin Indian crepe. So Rava Dosa is a thin & crispy crepes made with Semolina. To flavour up the crepes, various spices and herbs like ginger, green chillies and cumin are used. Ingredients for Instant Rava Masala Dosa Recipe

  • As Required For dosa batter
  • 1/4 cup Rava / semolina
  • 0.08 cup Rice flour
  • 1/2 tbsp Wheat flour
  • As Required salt as per taste
  • 0.13 cup whisk curd
  • As Required water as per required
  • 0.13 tsp Eno fruit salt
  • 1/4 g For Filling Masala Onion
  • 1/4 Pieces Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 inch Pinch salt
  • 0.13 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon juice
  • As Required Other content
  • As Required Oil
  • As Required Butter
  • As Required Garam masala
  • As Required aram masala
  • As Required Finely chopped green capsicum
  • As Required Finely chopped tomatoes
  • As Required Grated processed cheese
  • As Required Green coriander leaves chopped
  • As Required Onion masala

Directions: Instant Rava Masala Dosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.First add the Rava to the mixer jar and take a very fine powder. Pour it in to a large mixing bowl. Now take the curd fatty with the help of whisker.
  • STEP 2.Now add rice flour, wheat flour, salt, whipped curd and water to the mixing bowl and mix well. Now cover this batter with a lid and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Now after 20 minutes, the Rava is completely swollen and the water has dried up. Now again add 1/2 cup of water to this batter, mix well and prepare a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Now let's make Masala Onion for filling. For this, add chopped onion, salt, Red chilli powder, chaat masala and lemon juice in a bowl, mix well and prepare Onion masala for Dosa.
  • STEP 4.Now add Eno fruit salt to the batter and mix well. Then take a large nonstick dosa tawa on a medium flame and apply little bit oil in it and wipe with a kitchen towel. To keep the Dosa batter like the best pore consistency.
  • STEP 5.Now start pouring the batter from a little hight and spread butter on top of the dosa batter on this hot tawa. Now sprinkle red chilli powder, garam masala, chopped capsicum, chopped tomato, chopped green coriander leaves, masala onion and gratedprocessed cheese. Again sprinkle green coriander leaves, capsicum, tomato, Onion masala and fold the Dosa and remove to a plate. Then repeat the same process with the rest of the Rava Dosa batter.
  • STEP 6.Now our very crispy and delicious Rava Masala Dosa is ready to serve. Serve this Dosa with hot Shambar and coconut chutney.
