Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix ragi flour, rice flour, and urad dal flour.
  • STEP 2.Add water and salt to the mixture and whisk well to form a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Cover the batter and let it ferment overnight or for at least 6-8 hours.
  • STEP 4.Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter onto it.
  • STEP 5.Spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 6.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
  • STEP 7.Flip the dosa and cook for a minute on the other side.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.

  • Make sure the batter is well fermented for a soft and fluffy dosa.
  • You can add finely chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the batter for extra flavor.
