  • STEP 1.In the Instant Pot, heat oil on saut茅 mode. Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and spices (cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder). Saut茅 for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add yellow split peas, chopped tomatoes, water, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Close the Instant Pot lid and set the pressure cook mode for 15 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
