Inji thayir Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Inji thayir, also known as ginger yogurt or ginger raita, is a refreshing and tangy side dish from South India. It is made by combining grated ginger with yogurt and seasoned with spices like mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. This cooling accompaniment pairs well with spicy biryanis, pulao, or as a dip for snacks. The ginger adds a zesty kick to the creamy yogurt, making it a perfect balance of flavors.
