Ingredients for Imli ka amalana Recipe

  • 12.50 g grm Tamarind (imli)
  • 12.50 g grm jaggery
  • 1/4 Inch inchginger
  • 1/4 Tsp tspn cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 Tsp tspn cardamom powder
  • 1/4 Tsp tspn black pepper
  • 1 cup Water
  • As required salt - to taste
  • As required Mint leaves - for garnishing

Directions: Imli Ka Amalana Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the tamarind in hot water for about 30 minutes to soften it. Boil the soaked tamarind in the same water. Add the jaggery, ginger, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, black pepper, and salt. Continue boiling for about 20 minutes until the jaggery melts completely.
  • STEP 2.After boiling, let the mixture cool down. Strain it to remove any solid particles.
  • STEP 3.Add water as per taste. Serve chilled, garnished with mint leaves.
