  • 0.13 cup Urad Dal
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as needed Oil Or Ghee For Greasing The Idli Molds
  • as per your need Water For Grinding The Batter

  • STEP 1.Soak rice and lentils separately for a few hours.
  • STEP 2.Grind them into a smooth batter and let it ferment overnight.
  • STEP 3.Add salt to the batter and pour it into greased idli molds.
  • STEP 4.Steam the idlis for about 10-12 minutes until they are cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Remove from the molds and serve hot with chutney and sambar.
