Ingredients for Idli Burger Recipe

  • 3 cup Idli batter
  • As required salt to taste
  • As required Oil for greasing
  • As required Mix herbs as per ur taste
  • As required Chilli flakes as per ur taste
  • 1 tbsp Green capsicums finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp red capsicum chopped
  • 1 tbsp yellow capsicum chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cabbage chopped
  • 2 nos Cheese cubs and grated optional
  • 1 nos green chillies crushed
  • As required Fresh coriander leaves chopped ½ tablespoons
  • As required Pizza souce tsp
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds

Directions: Idli Burger Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat sufficient water in a dhokla steamer.

  • STEP 2.Take batter in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.

  • STEP 3.Grease the dhokla moulds with some oil pour some batter and tap. place the moulds in the hot steamer and steam till done.

  • STEP 4.Remove from steamer, cool and demould.

  • STEP 5.To prepare stuffing, take bowl Add gree,yellow red capsicum grated cheese, salt, green chillies, mix herbs, chilli flakes and coriander leaves.then add pizza sauce and mix it well.

  • STEP 6.Cut the steamed dhoklas into roundels using a medium sized round cookie cutter.

  • STEP 7.Heat a non-stick grill pan.

  • STEP 8.To prepare dhokla burger and spreading.

  • STEP 9.Take a small bowl and add burger souce, mayoniees mix it well and spread. some on one side of the roundels.

  • STEP 10.Spread some stuffing on top of half the dhokla roundels and cover with remaining roundels, burger souce mix side down.

  • STEP 11.Add butter to hot grill pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add sesame seeds and remaining coriander leaves. Place the sandwiches in the pan and grill, turning sides, till light golden, basting with some butter.

  • STEP 12.Serve hot.
