  • 1/2 cups of rice soaked in water
  • 1/4 nos cp urad dal soaked in water
  • 1/4 tsp methi dana added to urad dal
  • As required oil to grease mouolds

Directions: Iddlies From Mangalore Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the rice and the dal for 8 hours.
  • STEP 2.Grind them together and allow the batter to fement for 8 hours.
  • STEP 3.Mix well add salt
  • STEP 4.Grease the iddli mould with oil or ghee
  • STEP 5.steam for 20 min.
  • STEP 6.Serve with dipping of your choice.
