  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/4 stick Cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon Biryani Masala
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a large pot and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Saute for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add mixed vegetables like carrots, peas, and beans. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add biryani masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add soaked rice and gently mix with the vegetables. Add water and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the flavors are well blended.
  • STEP 8.Once cooked, let the biryani rest for 5 minutes before fluffing it up with a fork.
