Humitas are savory sweet fresh corn cakes made from the mixture of freshly ground corn, onions, cheese, eggs, and cream which is placed inside corn cakes. This dish is opular throughout South America especially in Chile, Argentina, Peru and eucador. The dish consists of corn cakes that are cooked with a corn creamy filling.
