  • 200 gram Dates, Pitted And Chopped
  • 100 gram Raisins
  • 100 gram Figs, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • 200 gram Honey
  • 200 gram Jaggery
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large pan, heat ghee and add grated amla, dates, raisins, and figs.
  • STEP 2.Cook the mixture on low heat until the fruits soften and release their juices.
  • STEP 3.Add powdered spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, along with honey and jaggery.
  • STEP 4.Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer to sterilized jars for storage.
  • STEP 6.Chyavanprash can be consumed daily, preferably in the morning, on an empty stomach. It can be eaten directly or mixed with warm milk or water.
