  • As required Egg plant
  • 1 kilogram Hilsa
  • As required Cooking Oil
  • As required Chopped Onion
  • As required Green chilli paste
  • As required Cumin paste
  • As required Garlic paste
  • As required Salt
  • As required Turmeric powder
  • As required Red chilli powder
  • As required Water

Directions: Hilsa With Eggplant Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut eggplant into pieces and wash them with water

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cut hilsa into pieces, clean it properly and wash them with lukewarm water.

step 3

  • STEP 3.First take kadai and pour cooking oil in it for heating.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Now add chopped onions on it.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Now add green chilli paste , cumin paste , garlic paste.

step 6

  • STEP 6.Now add salt( according to taste) , turmeric powder 1 ½ tbsp and red chilli powder 2 tbsp.

  • STEP 7.Cook it for 5 min and now add washed fish into it and fry them a little.

step 8

  • STEP 8.Now take out the fried fish pieces and add the cut eggplant pieces into it

step 9

  • STEP 9.Now add 4 cups of water, cover it and cook until the eggplant gets softer a bit.

step 10

  • STEP 10.Now add fish pieces which was kept aside and after adding them to kadai cover it and cook for 5-7 more mins and your fish is ready to serve
