1/10 Large onion, chopped
0.03 cup Butter
0.40 Garlic cloves, minced
1/10 teaspoon Salt
1/20 teaspoon Pepper
0.30 can Chicken Broth
1/10 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/10 cup Half and half cream
0.30 tablespoon Minced fresh chives
As required Optional toppings: shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, crumbled cooked bacon and minced chives
