Have cake and its healthy too we all love cake,young and old alike my kids do too and i have experimented with a number of cakes over the years starting off from the plain maida cakes, i have tried to make them healthier by incorporating other healthier flours and flavours too this is one such cake, i have tried out on a whim,turned out soft,fluffy and was appreciated by my family.

  • 0.07 cup Suji/Semolina th tea
  • 1/5 Brown/Wholewheat/ atta Bread Slices finely powdered in a dry grinder jar
  • 1/5 Beetroot medium sized,boiled, cooled, peeled and pureed
  • 1/10 Apple small pureed
  • 0.13 As required Jaggery/ Sugar th tea cup, powdered or less, according because the beets and apple add a sweetness of their own
  • 1/5 Vanilla Essence tspns
  • 0.07 cup olive Oil th tea
  • 1/5 Curd/Dahi tbspns
  • 1/5 Baking Powder tbspns
  • 1/10 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/10 pinch Salt
