Banana Walnut Cake can be made at home for a delightful sweet treat. It is a perfect healthy treat for my mum on this special occasion of mother's day 💗
STEP 1.First in a blender jar add chopped banana, brown sugar, vanilla essence,oil and blend well till smooth.
STEP 2.Pour the mixture to the mixing bowl, sieve together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt through the siever and mix gently by cut and fold method. Do not over mix.
STEP 3.Now add chopped walnuts and mix well.
STEP 4.Transfer the batter into prepared greased and lined tin/pan and tap nicely to release air bubbles. Add some chopped nuts and Choco chips and press lightly. Palce the tin into preheated wok/ idli maker or in oven. Bake for 35-40 mins on low flame. (In microwave bake on 180° convection mode) check by inserting toothpick if it comes out clean means it is done if not then let it bake for 5 mins more. Delicious walnut banana cake is ready.
