In this nutritious khichdi, favorite vegetables and spinach puree have been used. It is prepared very easily and quickly in the cooker. Tempering is optional.
1/4 cup spinach puree (blanch the spinach and grind it)
1/4 tsp Cumin
0-1/2 nos Cloves
1/4 nos Green Chili Chopped
1/4 piece Smallof cinnamon
1/4 nos bay leaf
1/4 cup chopped mixed vegetables (such as carrots

0.06 tsp Asafoetida
1/4 tsp Kitchen king garam masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
As required salt to taste
Directions: Hariyali Veg Khichadi Recipe
STEP 1.20 minutes before making khichdi, wash the lentils and rice together and keep them separate from the water.
STEP 2.▪️Now heat ghee in the cooker, add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, green chili and fry, now add ginger garlic paste and fry on low flame, now add spinach puree, mix well and fry for 1 minute.
STEP 3.▪️ Now add potatoes, peas tomato,onions and all chopped Add vegetables and mix well and fry for 1 minute. Now add dal rice and mix well and fry for 1 minute. Now add salt, garm masala , turmeric powder, asafoetida and mix.
STEP 4.▪️ Now add 6 cups of water, close the cooker and after 1 whistle, remove it from the flame.
STEP 5.When it cools completely, add tempering to it and garnish with paneer or coriander leaves and serve.
STEP 6.▪️Heat ghee for tempering, crush the garlic a little, turn off the flame, add red chili powder and pour it on the made khichdi.
