Ingredients for Handvo Recipe

  • 1/2 cup smolina/sooji
  • 0.22 cup Curd
  • 0.33 nos Onion Chopped
  • As required Veggies of your choice...like peas
  • As required capsicum etc.
  • 0.17 nos Dry roasted peanuts
  • 0.33 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.67 tsp Oil
  • 0.33 tbsp Dry coconut
  • 0.33 nos Pouch eno
  • As required Water as desired
  • As required To temper
  • 0.67 tsp Oil
  • 0.67 sprig Curry leaves
  • 0.33 tsp mustard seeds
  • 0.67 nos green chillies

Directions: Handvo Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix Rawa, Curd, diced veggies and salt well.
  • STEP 2.Add little water to set the consistency similar to dhokla, but not flowing consistency. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Take a nonstick wok, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli and let it spread on the entire base.
  • STEP 4.While it's crackling, mix eno with Veggie Rawa mix and spread it over the wok with Temper. Make it even
  • STEP 5.Cover the wok, cook on medium slow for 5 min and then over slow flame for 6-7 min.
  • STEP 6.Just like cake, check with a toothpick or knife to check. It should come out clean.
  • STEP 7.Slide it out from the wok. It should come out easily bcoz of non stick surface.
  • STEP 8.Cut out in desired shapes. Serve tomato sauce.
