Haleem is a traditional pakistani delicacy prepared with wheat, barley, various kinds of pulses, mutton or red meat. It is a very healthy dish as it helps in maintaining the blood circulation.
STEP 1.Take wheat and barley and soak it for 2-3 hours.

STEP 1.Soak chana dal, split green gram, split black gram , red lentil and rice in water for 2-3 hours.

STEP 1.For haleem in a pressure cooker add water, all the spices gathered for haleem.

STEP 1.Let the water boil with all the masalas in it and then add soaked haleem in the pressure cook and cook for 45 minutes.

STEP 1.Transfer this into a bigger vassel.

STEP 1.For dal, boil the dal mixture inside a pressure cooker for one whistle.

STEP 1.Add some water and the boiled dal mixture to haleem and mix well.

STEP 1.Add some water and cook for 15-20 minutes.

STEP 1.For ghosht in a pressure cooker take some oil and add chopped onions and fry until onions turn golden brown.

STEP 1.Take onions out in a bowl.

STEP 1.In the same cooker add the garam masalas kept aside for gosht.

STEP 1.Add chopped onions, gosht and ginger garlic paste in it.

STEP 1.Roast it for 2-3 minutes and add all the spices kept aside for gosht and ½ glass of water.

STEP 1.Pressure cook it for 5-7 whistles.

STEP 1.Cook it till the water evaporates and cook and the gosht becomes tender.

STEP 1.Add the prepared gosht into haleem and cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame and your haleem is ready to be served.
