#mango Almost in every Gujarati house, this recipe is made and mostly because eaten with thepla, bhakhri, etc. This recipe is made of raw mangoes called rajapuri mango but if its not available then you can make from any kind of raw mango. There are different styles of making this chhunda but here is my version of making this recipe and its quick too. Also we can store this in refrigerator for 4 to 5 months. Its kind of pickle.

Ingredients for Gujarati keri Chhundo Recipe

  • 83.33 gms rajapuri mangoes
  • 100 gms Sugar
  • 0.33 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.17 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.17 tsp Salt

Directions: Gujarati Keri Chhundo Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly grate raw mangoes.
  • STEP 2.Then add salt and sugar and mix well. Leave it for at least 15 mins or till the sugar gets dissolved completely.
  • STEP 3.Now cook this grated mangoes on medium flame till we get 1 string consistency or 1 tar chashni.
  • STEP 4.Once chashni is done, turn off the flame. Then add red chilli powder and cumin seeds and mix it well. Let it cool down at room temperature. Chhundo is ready. Put it into an air tight container and store it in refrigerator.
