Ingredients for Green Peas Paratha Recipe

  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 0.63 cups wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 nos green chili
  • As required Chopped
  • As required a pinch aseftida
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 0.13 teaspoon red chili powder
  • As required salt to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon ghee or oil
  • As required water .

Directions: Green Peas Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.Bring a cup of water to a boil and add green peas in it. Let it boil for 2 minutes more.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and let the peas cool for a few minutes. Once cooled pure the peas.
  • STEP 3.In a pan add a teaspoon of ghee or oil whatever you are using. Add cumin seeds and asafetida followed by ginger garlic paste and green chilli.
  • STEP 4.Stir for a minute and then add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala.
  • STEP 5.Add in the peas puree and saute for a minute. Remove from heat, set aside to cool.
  • STEP 6.In a mixing bowl add flour and peas puree, knead a smooth dough. Add a little bit of water if required.
  • STEP 7.Make medium-sized 8 balls from the dough. Roll each ball into a round paratha.
  • STEP 8.Cook on tava from both sides using ghee or oil.
  • STEP 9.Serve hot with pickle, curd or tea
