Spicy and delicious green peas paratha would make a perfectly healthy breakfast when served with tea or scrumptious lunch when paired with any side dish.
STEP 1.Bring a cup of water to a boil and add green peas in it. Let it boil for 2 minutes more.
STEP 2.Drain the water and let the peas cool for a few minutes. Once cooled pure the peas.
STEP 3.In a pan add a teaspoon of ghee or oil whatever you are using. Add cumin seeds and asafetida followed by ginger garlic paste and green chilli.
STEP 4.Stir for a minute and then add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala.
STEP 5.Add in the peas puree and saute for a minute. Remove from heat, set aside to cool.
STEP 6.In a mixing bowl add flour and peas puree, knead a smooth dough. Add a little bit of water if required.
STEP 7.Make medium-sized 8 balls from the dough. Roll each ball into a round paratha.
STEP 8.Cook on tava from both sides using ghee or oil.
STEP 9.Serve hot with pickle, curd or tea
